Product Engineers: 3 to 5 years experience in interior trim / cockpit module / instrument panel design and development. Prefer Tier 1 background and experience supporting Japanese automakers. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering REQUIRED.

Unigraphics and Catia V5 Designers: Strong plastics background to support project in Indiana. Must have Exterior Lighting experience.

OPTICS ENGINEER AUTOMOTIVE: Design and solve Optics related requirements for interior and Ambient lighting application in Automotive Designs. Develop specs for new projects/products, both internal and for specific customer solutions. Manage products/projects development and report to product management team. Interface with customers by phone and in person. Work with Sales and marketing teams. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Drive programs that require Optics related contents, bring open issues to resolution, and identify and eliminate bottlenecks • Participate in the quoting process • Responsible for supporting design and modeling lighting assemblies that meet customer requirements for Optics and Optics Engineering, Optics application may include traditional lighting, LED and other such technologies. • Communicate project progress with development team during regular meetings • Other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Experience with Optics and Optics Software use to support design and analysis for product development projects • Experience with SPEOS (optics) software is a plus or any other Optics software hands on experience for supporting Automotive product development work • Experience with Optics and/or Electrical/Electronics test lab for product development process. • Ability to develop breadboards and prototype models, working experience with test labs for product validations is a plus • Experience with lighting systems design would be a plus point • Ability to understand CAD design, 2D drawings and basic knowledge of CAD systems such as IDEAS and CATIA V5 is a plus. • Knowledge of design and manufacturing system requirements for consumers market • Knowledge of design and manufacturing system requirements for automotive suppliers is a plus • Knowledge in prototyping techniques and resources • Strong communication skills, verbal and written • Strong follow-through skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Outlook • Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant Engineering field • 5 years of experience with strong Optics background
