We have recently augmented our
training resources with a capability to develop process and instruction
manuals. This is a logical extension of our skills in the enabling
technologies around engineering product development.
The instruction manuals most often
target processes of varying degree of complexity. These processes can
then be captured in various media formats including traditional
publication, to multi-media rich formats, to purely video format for
easy demonstrations. Such techniques are being most commonly used for
providing instructions for assembly processes on the factory floor, but
have extensibility outside the factory floor also. The resulting time
savings lead to more efficient launches, and subsequent cost savings.
